Daniela Ekman

Dani is our director, creator and the Mother of Soma Shakti. She offers a broad spectrum of traditional and intuitive birth and mother care and dedicated her entire being to teaching, guiding and supporting women through every phase. Dani is a deeply devoted mother, a birth keeper (partera tradicional) , Aware Parenting Instructor, and an Ayurvedic practitioner. She offers prenatal and postpartum care woven with traditional birth ceremonies and ritual.

Sarah Smits

Sarah is one of our online mentors and guides women through deep learnings of midwifery. She has a unique journey being a midwife in the system whilst also being deeply embedded in traditional birth, freebirth and home birth. Sarah offers retreats globally that focus on walking women through traditional birth practices. She is available at Bridging worlds Midwifery and has incredible knowledge of all spectrums of birth.

Sally Patti

Sally is our graphic designer and marketing manager who also involves herself in all Soma Shakti’s offerings. She is deeply embedded in all of the ethics of Soma and practices. As a mother, doula and online birth mentor she hosts womens circles and preforms rituals around brith and post partum. She believes and practices birth as a spiritual portal offering her psychic birth mentorship online.

Daniela Maronesi da Silva

Daniela is a long term Soma Shakti student and mentor and supports all of our offerings. Dani is a birthkeeper, transpersonal art therapist, yoga teacher for kids and massage therapist. She loves offering cacao ceremony and being involved in womens circles and rituals.She is a foundation to our retreat - En la luz de patera. Daniela weaves a deep rooted traditional birth practice into all of her offerings.
